University College Aspira became the first institution of higher education in this part of Europe, which has signed a cooperation agreement and validation of diplomas with the Swiss Education Group, a group that brings together the world’s best faculties in the hotel and tourism industry.
On the July 2nd, President of the Board of Aspira Mr Alen Jerkunica and representative of the prestigious Swiss group of faculties, Swiss Education Group, Mr Alain Belizaire signed a partnership agreement on the triple diploma.
Mr Jerkunica emphasised it is a great honour that one of the world’s top group with a long tradition in higher education of the staff in the hotel and tourism industry recognized the study program of Aspira International Management in Hospitality and Tourism as a program that follows the latest international trends.
Alain Belizaire said they have more than 2000 students from more than 120 countries worldwide. They believe that this collaboration with Aspira would be crucial for the region and that all projects that Aspira plans will be successfully implemented.
This is a group that brings together five prestigious faculties of hotel management in Europe (Hotel Institute Montreux, Cesar Ritz Colleges, Culinary Arts Academy, School of Hotel Management, Swiss Hotel Management School) and has developed cooperation with a number of hotel chains such as Hilton Hotels, Armani hotels, Hyatt group, Marriott, Kempinski hotel, the Four Seasons, Starwood and many others. In addition to the exchange of students and teachers, students of International Management in the hotel industry and tourism have the opportunity to continue studies at the Swiss university Hotel Institute Montreux under adjusted terms. Most of courses will be validated to students and they will have the option of acquiring the Swiss and American diploma (Swiss Higher Diploma in International Hotel Management with Specialization from HIM, BBA in Hospitality Management with Specialization from HIM and the American BBA in Hospitality Management from Northwood University, USA).
The academic quality of the study programme of International Management in Hospitality and Tourism was confirmed by this cooperation and the way to a world-class hotel education opened.
