Graduate study (Master) of Sports Management

It is intended for the professionals who already work in sports, as well as those who want to achieve successful careers in sports and sports industry.

According to the provisions of the Bologna process, which levelled out all European higher education study programs, the undergraduate degree program takes place over 3 years (6 semesters) in either full time or part time study and leads to 180 ECTS pointsThe graduate program lasts 2 years (4 semesters) and leads to 120 ECTS points.

International degree-seeking students

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate (Bachelor) Study:

  • 3 or 4-year secondary education completed (general or vocational)
  • Proficient in English language: TOEFL (min. score 500) or IELTS (min. score 5.0)

Graduate (Master) Study:

  • Undergraduate study completed (Bachelor degree holders)
  • Proficient in English language: TOEFL (min. score 500) or IELTS (min. score 5.0)

English language Level B2 is necessary. Unless your prior education was in English, any language proficiency certificate such as TOEFL etc. is more than welcome, but not mandatory. An alternative is that you provide certificate on English language proficiency from your home country.

STEP 1:

Applicant completes the application form (https://www.aspira.hr/en/application-form/application-study-programs/)

STEP 2: 

Aplicant e-mails the following scanned documents (in PDF, JPEG, Ms Word or OpenDocument format):

  1. Passport copy
  2. Proof of citizenship
  3. Educational documents for Undergraduate / Graduate Study:

Undergraduate (Bachelor) Study:

  • Diplomas of completed secondary level of education
  • Transcript of records

Graduate (Master) Study:

  • Undergraduate diploma (bachelor’s degree)
  • Transcript of records
  1. Proof of English proficiency
  2. CV
  3. Motivation letter

 

STEP 3: Admission test interview with the applicant

STEP 4: Conditional Offer Letter – a place is offered on the following conditions:

  • Academic Condition: Recognition of qualification attesting the completion of secondary education by Croatian Ministry of Education
  • Financial Condition: Application fee of €300 (non-refundable administrative charge)

STEP 5: Student pays the admission fee and sends the notarized copies of educational documents to ASPIRA by post. ASPIRA coordinates diploma recognition procedure.

STEP 6: Tuition fee payment: student pays the full first year tuition fee in the form of deposit. A formal admission letter supporting visa application is sent to the student.

* The deposit serves as a guarantee and is refundable in case students are unsuccessful in their visa application.

Scholarship opportunities

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrated financial need;
  2. Success in high school education completed;
  3. Extra academic or professional achievement;
  4. Candidates must not be employed.

An application form for scholarships is available upon request. Scholarship awards are made at the time of enrolment ranking lists.
