This past month our very own Head of Sports Management study program, Luka Androja and our professor of Economical Subjects, Filip Glibota got to travel all the way to Lisbon, Portugal to attend Universidade Aberta’s staff week.
From the 27th of June to the 1st of July, both professors got to enjoy several different presentations held by the university itself. On the first day they had introductions from the Universidade Aberta, the participants and the participants universities. On the second day they got to hear presentations about the Virtual Pedagological Model, Open Education Resources, Sustainable Camps at Universidade Aberta, and some more. On the third day they heard about The Local Centres Network, Digital Transition, Microcredentials and Meetings on Demand. On the fourth day they had the opportunity to travel to Porto de Mos, and visit the Local Learning Centre, The Fab Lab (Laboratory of prototyping), The Arts Centre, The Centre of Interpretation of the Battle of Aljubarrota, and finally The Castle of Porto de Mos before returning to Lisbon. On their last day of the staff week, they heard some final presentations about Digital Repositories, Digital Production, before their farewell session and their brief tour to Palacio Ceia.
We hope that both Mr. Luka Androja and Mr. Filip Glibota had an amazing time at Universidade Aberta and learned a lot from both the presentations they got to attend and the trips they got to take.
