Ivan Veštić thanked Aspira University College for recognizing market needs and working for years to prepare young people for challenges of the future, bringing them together with employers. Doc. Dr. Sc. Meri Maretić likewise thanked “the visionaries who have founded Aspira University College and have worked for years and years to the betterment of our society.”

Student impressions:
Zvonimir Stamenov, Bachelor of Sports Management
“Studying at Aspira is very enjoyable. Uniquely in Croatia, the professors help students in every way, so that difficult material is made easy. I made numerous useful contacts which I hope to use in my career, and I got to live and work in Madrid during my professional internship.”
Katarina Mandić, Bachelor of Sports Management
“Studying at Aspira University College was formative for me as a person. It helped me find a job during college, and get my bearings in the world of professional sports, which is still highly dominated by men. Most employees in sports organizations have business degrees, however the Sports Management degree was a far superior experience. It gave me a broad spectrum of knowledge. During my professional internship I worked at the Cedevita Basketball Club, whereas today I work for the handball club PPD Zagreb.
Marin Marušić, Bachelor of Sports Management
“I have been taking part in organizing sports events in Croatia for years now, from the Snow Queen Trophy in Zagreb, Davis Cup matches, the Red Bull Air Race, and the European Water Polo Championship. An Aspira degree helps me appear more presentable and respectful in the business world. My advice to future students is to keep trying and persist at forging contacts, for which Aspira is the best place to go.”
