In May, students from Aspira University of Applied Sciences had the exciting opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) titled “Redesigning the Future: Sustainable Food Packaging and Business Innovation”, hosted by International Balkan University (MK SKOPJE04) in Skopje, North Macedonia.
This international program brought together students and professors from various European countries to collaboratively explore current topics in sustainability within food systems and business innovation. Throughout the program, students researched and prepared presentations on:
· Innovations in sustainable food production, consumption, and packaging,
· Government policies and business models supporting sustainability and food security,
· Circular economy practices related to food systems and packaging solutions, and
· Case studies of businesses leading the way in sustainable practices.
In addition to the academic work, participants enjoyed a one-day excursion to the beautiful Ohrid Lake, where they connected with peers from different countries while experiencing the stunning natural surroundings.
Aspira is proud of its students who demonstrated exceptional knowledge, motivation, and enthusiasm throughout the program. We extend our gratitude to the organizers for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, as well as to all participants who contributed to a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.
