Students of Aspira Split and Zagreb, accompanied by Josip Radić, International Relations Coordinator, and Head of Sports Management department Luka Androja, spent one week in beautiful Austria participating in the Erasmus Blended International Program called “The Future of Sports Management“. During the first part of the week, the students had the opportunity visit Salzburg and to listen to various lectures on the impact of sustainability in sports management events, where, they were presented various examples and topics of how important it is to have a sustainable mindset not only in ones personal life but also in the professional. During the middle of the week, the students had the opportunity to visit and tour various sporting facilities such as the Red Bull academy and Stadium in Slazburg and the Ice Hockey Club in Linz. Towards the end of the week the students made their way into Vienna where, alongside Italian and Austrian students, they started working on their group project about a sustainable sporting event and also got to visit several sporting facilities.
The program had really engaging guest lecturers from Italy and Austria, and our Croatian as well as some of our international students got to enjoy the three cities of Salzburg, Linz and Vienna and try some of the local food.
Our students definitely enjoyed and learned a lot during this program, and they are all longing to participate in another one.
