KK Cedevita announced a competition called Case study competition 2017 in February. The competition was intended for students and the task was to create their own marketing plan to enhance the image of the CK Cedevita club in order to reach the hearts of people and create a strong relationship with the fans.
The students of the Sports Management of Aspira Nino Kapitanović, Zvonimir Stamenova and Ivan Vranković were interested in the contest and decided to send their project and in that way “measure the strength” with other students from all over Croatia.
There were over 170 registered teams with different marketing ideas and suggestions which said a great deal about the interest and attractiveness of the contest. Despite the strong competition, students Nino, Zvonimir and Ivan took the lead and made all of us proud, especially their marketing teachers.
Otherwise, Nino is the first year of graduate studies at Sports Management and through his dedication and effort he has become the assistant for younger generations at the Entrepreneurship course. He is an outstanding student with characteristics such as responsibility, task execution, and easy communication. Zvonimir with his successes has become a demonstrator on the Basics of Marketing course and is very interested in technology and is in the association of young programmers – DUMP. During his Erasmus + program, Zvonimir was in practice at the GB Events in Madrid and there he participated in the organization of various sports events such as the Madrid Weekend that brings together sports management students from all over the world. Zvonimir is also a passionate fan of extreme sports and has achieved a number of successes in that field as well. Ivan is a co-ordinator at the Maksimir soccer school, and in order to be able to study, he chose the possibility of extraordinary studies to combine study and work. He has successfully implemented his studies with many years of organizing sporting events and also applied this experience to the competition project of KK Cedevita.
Nino, Zvonimir and Ivan made a quality paper with all the necessary elaborated details and presented in a creative way their ideas for improving the marketing communication of KK Cedevita. Members of the jury of the marketing team of KK Cedevita were very please with the concept of the project, and the boys were awarded the “gold medal”, or first place.
The paper contains the strategy and modification of the communication model through a whole array of activities, designed in a detail and modern way, which will ultimately lead to improved perceptions for citizens and therefore announce new fane waves and find a way to the hearts of fans and the wider community.
The closing Case Study event was held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Cedevita Basketball Centre and Emil Tedeschi awarded the prizes to the students.
WELL DONE BOYS!!!
