On Monday and Tuesday, July 5th and 6th, a two-day workshop on “Nutrition and Allergens in Meal Creation” was held at Aspira College in Zagreb. The workshop was held by our lecturer Karmen Matković, a nutritionist with extensive experience in the field of nutrition, phytotherapy and diet therapy. We are especially proud that the participants of this workshop were 4 professors from hospitality high schools in Karlovac, Crikvenica and Krk who applied for the workshop in order to enrich their knowledge in new fields that they will later be able to pass on to their students – future holders of the sector of hospitality and tourism.
The entire teacher training program which aims to expand and strengthen the hospitality and tourism offer RCK RECEPT is a part of the European project of regional centers of competence which promotes the organization of professional training programs to strengthen the competences of teachers and students who will have a better position in the labor market.
Given the importance of tourism and hospitality in the Croatian economy and Aspira’s rich experience in education in this area, we hope that this is the beginning of a long and successful cooperation!
