From April 17th to April 21st, Aspira University of Applied Sciences has organized its 6th International Week and hosted 25 of its international colleagues from various European universities!
During the five days of their stay in Split, participants had an opportunity to follow many interesting lectures of their colleagues, to talk about Erasmus projects but also to visit the tourist attractions of the city under Marjan hill, all with the guidance and organization of our Josip Radić from the International Relations Office. They also tried their hand at cooking under the guidance of our colleague Ms. Ivona Bosančić Lasić and Mr. Tonči Drlje held a workshop of pairing food with the drinks.
The opening ceremony was led by Josip, who took care of the organization of this unique event.
„I would like to thank you for joining us on this 6th International Week organized by Aspira University of Applied Sciences and I hope you will have great time here with us. We have prepared many activities for you during this week and I look forward to interact with all of you, to meet you better and to exchange best practices that I am sure we all do have.”, Josip said.
Ms. Petra Mandac, Vice Dean for International Relations at Aspira University of Applied Sciences, also joined the good wishes and welcome speech.

As a Vice Dean, I wish to give a warm welcome to all of you who are today here. It is our pleasure and honor to welcome the esteemed professors, assistants, directors and IRO members who are going to share their insights and experiences with us. I would also like to give a warm welcome to our friends from Erasmus Student Network Split.”, Mandac said.
She pointed out the importance of these annual gatherings which enable the building of a productive dialogue between participants of different nationalities. Also, they provide an invaluable opportunity for networking and creating new contacts.
