Admissions

Step 1: Applicants must fill in the application form on our website.

Step 2: After receiving filled application form, applicants will be contacted in order to provide necessary application documentation.

Application documents:

• Secondary Education Diploma
• Secondary Education transcripts
• Copy of passport
• Proof of English proficiency (500 TOEFL or IELTS or equivalent)
• Curriculum vitae (résumé)
• Motivation letter

* Candidates who have not taken the predicted level of English language can take a special test of English at Aspira University of Applied Sciences.

Step 3: If your application is successful and the requested program is available, we will send you the letter of acceptance as soon as possible.

Documents for the application of enrolment procedure:

• the certificates of all secondary school grades and the certificate of the final exam in the secondary school (original or certified copy);
• transcript of the 1st semester grades of the final school year (for graduates),
• a copy of the nationality certificate and the birth certificate,
• enrolment application received at Aspira facility or on a web site,
• payment for the costs of enrolment procedure (180 kn) on IBAN account: HR4024840081104992880

The documentation must be submitted to the student service not later than two days before the classroom procedure.

 

Application documents:

• originals of previously attached documents,
• registry,
• the enrolment list and the index received at the student’s office,
• two photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm) for the index and registry and
• paid tuition fee confirmation.

Candidates who have been educated outside the Republic of Croatia are obliged to initiate the procedure for recognizing the conformity of a foreign certificate with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the resulting conformity resolution may be submitted subsequently.

Evaluation criteria

Success during the four grades of high school

The average rating of all grades is up to 40 points

State final exam

Croatian language, level B carries up to 20 points

Mathematics, level B carries up to 20 points

Foreign language, level B carries up to 20 points

* Candidates who have not passed the anticipated level of English language can take English language test at Aspira.

Special achievements (extra points):

First to third place at national and international competitions in all subjects as well as knowledge of third foreign language according to internationally recognized confirmation carries up to 5 points.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The following criteria are considered for awarding scholarships:

1. lower personal income;
2. success in the secondary school education so far;

The scholarship contract is extended at the end of each academic year after the end of the autumn exam term. In the case of repeating the academic year or if an average grade during one college year falls under 4.0, candidate will lose the right to scholarship.

There is an application form for granting scholarships, and complete documentation is submitted to the Student Service of the Aspira University of Applied Sciences until the end of the list of candidates for enrollment.

When submitting the application, it is necessary to submit: nationality certificate, the certificates of all secondary school grades and the certificate of the final exam in the secondary school or the certificates of all secondary school grades and the certificate of the state final exam in the secondary school (for candidates enrolled with the state final exam), the decision of the Centre for Social Welfare and / or the Household Income Certificate from the previous calendar year, i.e. documents that show the social status and / or personal income of the candidate (s).
