In accordance with the need for sustainable and green development, as well as Aspira’s central strategy and environmental protection policy, Petra Mandac, vice-dean for international cooperation and head of our Quality Office, successfully passed the course for a certified auditor for the ISO 14001:2015 issued by DNV, an independent expert in assurance and risk assessment and the world’s leading certification society, this June. The vice-dean added this certificate to the previously passed standards for ISO 9001:2015, according to which the University of Applied Sciences was certified back in 2009. In this way, we made a step towards sustainable development and laid the foundations for the verification procedure according to ISO 14001:2015 / EMS and environmental protection in order to ensure the highest possible level of services provided to our students and participants.
