On October 5th Aspira College has officialy opened a new academic year for international and Erasmus students. We are so happy and proud to say that this is the biggest number of international students at Aspira so far. New challenges, new knowledge and a lot of beautiful shared moments in the coming year awaits these students.
The ceremony host was Aspira’s international relations coordinator, Josip Radić. who is at the full service of all ours international students. Besides Josip, our Vice Dean for international business, Petra Mandac, also wished them a warm welcome.
„This is the biggest number of international students we had so far, so I wish you all a great academic year, I am very, very glad that you are here with us today. Aspire to be the best version of yourself, as our school moto says, and I hope you’ll have a wonderfull semester here with us.“, Petra said.
The essence of studying is in exploring, enjoying and making every moment count. When you go to study abroad, the goal is not only to acquire new professional knowledge but also life knowledge. Study, travel, explore new cultures, make some new lifetime friends… Use its full potential!
Following this, Petra addressed those who intend to prolongate their stay in Split: „Some of you may even decide to prolongate your stay for full year, we had this happen before because Split is a destination that is mostly famous for it’s summer season so I also urge you all to prolongate your stay and stay for the summer because that is the best part of the year here in Split!“
We hope that Aspira and Croatia will be a beautiful memory and experience for them that will enrich their lives and student days.
After the official opening of the new academic year, those present had the opportunity to enjoy a reception prepared by students of Gastronomy under the mentorship of Chef Nikša Boban.
We wish a lot of happiness and success to all Aspira students and professors in the new academic year with the thought given to them by Vice Dean Mario Buble – be yourself, eager for knowledge and challenges, be full of the minimum, strive for the maximum.
