University College Aspira performs two contemporary study programmes related to tourism and sports, which fully meet the needs of modern society. It is also established, through the study program of Sports Management, as the only higher education institution that offers undergraduate (three years) and graduate (two years) level education. Six Olympic medals winners who want to go beyond sports career and acquire quality managerial knowledge and skills study at Aspira. The flexibility of the study program and individual approach enable it. Aspira has launched a new study programme of International Management in Hospitality and Tourism. Through the study students can opt for the Hotel Management or Destination Management Organization (DMO) and Destination Management Company (DMC).
The Hotel Management was organized in cooperation with foreign and domestic hoteliers, who provided guidance on the necessary knowledge and competencies student should acquire in order to be maximally competitive in the international labour market. Destination Management Organization (DMO) and Destination Management Company (DMC) is the first undergraduate study programme in Croatia that allows mastering the knowledge and skills to manage a touristic destination. Students of this innovative programme represent holders of the touristic development. Student practice – a sure path to employment! The programme is rich with workshops and practice on each year. The most important part of professional practice refers to the last semester in college, when the entire semester is spent working in the world-famous hotels and organizations.
