At the second edition of the Weekend Food Festival, Aspira had its representatives, among whom there were five students, and as part of the activity, they held a cooking show that impressed the visitors. Along with the students, chefs Nikša Boban and Ivan Tartaro participated at the cooking show.
The festival was held on April 14, 15 and 16 in Rovinj and was full of lectures by eminent chefs and people related to food in some way. The first day was marked by the world-famous Franco Pepe, while Saturday opened with a lecture by Mate Janković. Then David Skoko presented his experiences with product branding, highlighting the wrong practices of branding scarce foods. An important topic this weekend was sustainability in the kitchen, which was discussed in more detail by the duo from the restaurant Gucci Ostreria da Massimo Bottura – Karima Lopez and Takahiko “Taka” Kondo.
Among the many world names was the world’s best chef, Dabiz Munoz, who prepared two dishes from his DiverXO restaurant.
Aspira thus spent the weekend among the gourmet elite and in the best way presented the culinary education that it offers to potential students in Croatia, but also to those from all over the world.
