Representatives of Aspira University College participated in the 14th MAS Andragogy Conference, one of the most important professional gatherings in the field of adult education, held from April 15 to 17, 2026, in Brela, organized by the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education.
The conference brought together numerous experts from the adult education sector with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences, with a special emphasis on contemporary challenges and opportunities in education. Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to attend lectures, workshops, and thematic discussions covering key topics related to the development of the lifelong learning system.

A special focus was placed on the application of artificial intelligence in education, highlighting the importance of its responsible and thoughtful integration into the teaching process. New approaches to student assessment were also presented, with the aim of better aligning learning outcomes with the needs of the labor market.
Another important topic of the conference was the quality assurance system, explored through the exchange of best practices in self-evaluation and external evaluation of educational institutions. In addition, discussions addressed the role of the Croatian Qualifications Framework in the standardization and recognition of educational programs at the national level.

Participation in events such as this is extremely important for the development of high-quality and relevant educational programs at Aspira. The exchange of experiences with colleagues from across Croatia, as well as participation in interactive formats such as “information cafés” and workshops, further enriched this valuable professional experience.
Aspira University College continues to actively monitor contemporary trends and invest in the development of its staff’s competencies, with the goal of ensuring high-quality education and strengthening its role in the field of lifelong learning.
