Aspira College of Management and Design was a partner in the Erasmus + Program project called PROCSEE-Excellence in Professional Higher Education in Central and Southeastern Europe in cooperation with the Agency for Science and Higher Education and the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges of the Republic of Croatia. The goal of the project is to strengthen professional higher education in the partner countries. The project started in October 2015 and ended with a conference on November 26, 2018. It was financed as part of the ERASMUS+ K2 program.

The total value of the project is about EUR 598,250.00, and Marko Jelić, prof. high school and Ph.D. and Žarko Nožica, prof. high school, participated as experts in the project.

In countries with developed PHE systems, vocational education is characterized by a dual system that has a large share of workplace learning, apprenticeships and other models that facilitate the transition from the learning phase to the work phase. The communication further indicates that excellence in PHE comes from systematically renewed curricula, which are constantly modernized with the crucial active involvement of companies, especially small and medium-sized ones.

By involving leading actors across Europe, educational institutions and companies from Southeast European countries and European and regional actors, the project will provide specific policy inputs on addressing these priorities in each participating country, as well as across the region.
