Aspira University College Split organizes and conducts a training program for Marina Receptionists.
Reception is the backbone of the marina business. For every port of nautical tourism, it is essential to ensure quality staff capable of responding to the contemporary demands of this business. The aim of the training program is to enable participants to acquire knowledge and skills for up-to-date operations at the marina reception. The basic task of a marina receptionist is the professional reception and check-out of guests / yachtsmen, as well as providing them with other important marina services.
The receptionist must have organizational, communication and professional skills necessary for daily operations of the marina.
PROGRAM WILL ENABLE PARTICIPANTS TO:
- Develop modern marketing activities (content marketing, Internet marketing, strategic marketing, sales skills and techniques)
- Acquire sales skills and techniques
- Deal with conflict resolution and stress management (assertiveness and neuro-linguistic programming)
- Master problem-solving techniques related to marina guests
- Improve business verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Improve the English language with the emphasis on nautical terminology
- Master modern reception business of the marina
- Apply financial operations for the marina reception
LECTURERS ARE PROMINENT EXPERTS FROM THE FOLLOWING FIELDS:
- Alma Bauer, M.Sc., Consultant in the field of support applications for marinas and charter operations
- Nenad Pejovski, M.Sc., Retail Manager, Marketing Specialist
Majda Todorović, M.Sc. Professor of English and Italian Language
Each lesson includes theoretical and practical part, exercises and workshops.
The practical part of the classroom is organized at the marina reception desk.
After successfully completing the final exam, the participant is issued the certificate of a Marina Reciptionist.
