From May 13 to 17, 2024, the beautiful city of Split hosted the 7th. International Staff Week, which brought together 30 participants from different countries. This event, organized by Aspira University of Applied Sciences, aimed to promote internationalization and exchange good practices within the Erasmus+ project.
The week began on Monday, May 13, with a walk around the city accompanied by a guide. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the rich history and culture of Split.
On Tuesday, the day began with registration and icebreaking games that inspired team spirit among the participants. Following this, guests gave presentations about their universities, sharing experiences and practices. The day ended with a conversation about the Erasmus+ program and BIP mobilities, where the participants shared their experiences and ideas for future projects.
Wednesday was dedicated to the discussion on STT mobility, while Thursday was reserved for a trip to the nearby city of Trogir, which is under the protection of UNESCO. The participants enjoyed the beauty of Trogir, and this trip was the perfect end to their Erasmus week.
This international week not only provided an opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing, but also further promoted the importance of internationalization in higher education. Through various activities and discussions, participants have strengthened themselves for future projects and collaborations within the Erasmus+ framework.
Ultimately, 7. International Staff Week was a successful event that combined different cultures and perspectives, while emphasizing the beauty of Split as an ideal destination for such gatherings. The participants returned home with new knowledge, inspiration and numerous contacts for future collaborations.
