Aspira University College has been invited to be a partner in the Hotel Academy project, which will deal with the development of an online training platform for hotel staff training in the wider European area. The goal of the project is digital transformation in tourism and the provision of a modern learning tool. The aforementioned online platform will serve staff training, promotion of new occupations in tourism and encouragement of employee motivation. Online teaching materials are envisioned for several prospective occupations in tourism, namely: hotel animator, bellboy/ porter, concierge, guest relations manager and housekeeping maid.
The project partners are from three European countries – Austria, Croatia and Slovenia, all of whom have great experience in the field of education and work in tourism. The partners as follows: SEIC Moravske Toplice, Erudio Professional Training Center from Ljubljana, AOT Consulting from Vienna, ÖHV Tourist Agency from Vienna, Aspira University College and Terme Tuhelj.
All partners have great experience in the field of tourism and they will use their joint forces to strive for a greater degree of digitization that will be tailored to the needs and conditions of the tourism industry, and thus enhance the quality of tourism development.
