The Student Council operates within Aspira University of Applied Sciences as a representative body of students, whose members are elected through a democratic process.
The primary objective of the Student Council is to protect students’ interests and to participate in decision-making processes concerning matters of importance to student life.
TASKS OF THE STUDENTS’ COUNCIL:
- Ensuring high quality of studying at Aspira University of Applied Sciences
- Taking care of the students’ rights
- Implementation of the council’s work plan and program
- Proposing new guidelines for the college’s development
- Noticing possible omissions
- Proposing, encouraging, and implementing students’ activities
- Promotion and representation of the students
Due to the existence of the students’ council, the communication between the students themselves deepens, as well as their communication with the teachers, the administration and all the other employees of Aspira University of Applied Sciences. Thus, the quality of studying increases, and students can at any time present their ideas for improving the study experience, point out its advantages or disadvantages, and participate in decision-making as a community.
