Aspira College and the IT company Typeqast have been cooperating successfully for several years. The first steps in connecting Aspira’s students with a well-known IT company happened already during opening of Computer Science study program. The best example of connecting education and practical work is the scholarship of Aspira’s student Filip Jakovčević. In 2019/2020, during the 2nd year of Software Engineering, Filip got a Typeqast scholarship and the opportunity for an internship at their company under the mentorship of top programmers employed by Typeqast. From August 2020, Filip also became an employee of TQ in the position of Junior Frontend Developer.
The cooperation of Typeqast and Aspira continues by including Aspira’s students in the Boot camp for low code. Talented students, which are picked during a recruitment process, join the TQ boot camp. The first group of the boot camp includes other two students from Aspira: Kristijan Krtalić and Slavko Škorić. TQ reports that they are looking forward to having a larger number of Aspira students involved soon.
