Students of Aspira University of Applied Sciences had an opportunity to spend a week in Salzburg on Erasmus+ BIP mobility organised by the University of Seeburg Castle. This event, which brought together students and professors from different countries, was an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of sports management.
During the week, students participated in workshops and lectures covering key topics such as sustainability in sporting events, sports tourism and digitalisation in sport management, use of multimedia and social networks, sports broadcasting and the latest trends in sporting event management. In addition to lectures and workshops, excursions were organised to key sports facilities in Austria, giving students a first-hand insight into working in the industry. Students were accompanied with their lecturers Ms Ana Lujić and Mr Bepo Žura who held a lecture on topic of Sports Tourism in Croatia.
The International Week at Seeburg Castle University was a successful event that allowed students to acquire new knowledge and contacts in the field of sports management. The students returned with new ideas and inspiration for future projects, and in addition, with a desire for new international collaborations.
