The County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Split has 420 members and has already enjoyed a successful cooperation with the Aspira College. After donating the Braille printer, Aspira donated a Looky 5 handheld magnifier, as well.
Looky 5 features a bright, vibrant, and intuitive touch screen. Its 5-inch screen displays superb, crystal-clear images and exceptional brightness using a touch-sensitive interface. This magnifier was assigned to Marianne to make her daily and work activities easier. Marianne was born with more than 95% visual impairment in both eyes, but she says she got used to it since she does not know otherwise. She copes well in familiar environment because she relies on her own memory, but reading, which should be a part of everyday life, without a magnifying glass represents a big problem.
We are extremely glad that Aspira had the opportunity to help the Association and Marianne, to whom this magnifier will help not only in work activities but also in everyday ones.
We are looking forward to future collaborations.
