From October 11th to 13th, 2022, the Croatian Tourism Expo will be held in Osijek, as part of which the 5th Congress of Sports Management in Tourism and the 3rd Congress of Health Tourism will be held.
Lux Promotion presented itself as the organizer of the Croatian Tourism Expo, while Aspira College was the co-organizer of the 5th Congress of Sports Management in Tourism. Sponsors of the Croatian Tourism Expo are the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds, the Ministry of Sports and Osijek-Baranja County.
A panel was held on the topic of Sports management in tourism and personnel education, in which the representative of Aspire, Danijela Čepo, coordinator of the teaching center Zagreb, together with associate professor Ph.D. Sanelom Škorić from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb and Assoc. Ph.D. Tvrtko Galić, vice dean for development, professional work and business organization from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Osijek.
The Congress was also attended by the lecturer and associate of the Academy of Sciences, M.Sc. sc. Filip Bartoluci, who presented a paper on the topic “The importance of management in the cooperation of sports and tourism”, whose authors were Ph.D. Tihomir Luković, scientific advisor, Aspire senior lecturer, mag. father Iva Sundji, Aspire lecturer and M.Sc. sc. Filip Bartoluci.
In addition to this one, several other works were presented in which Aspirina’s forces participated; in the creation of the work “Consequences of Covid-19 on individual anthropological characteristics of athletes and sports workers in the city of Zadar”, Dr. sc. Josip Miočić, Sports Association of the City of Zadar, Aspira, Luka Androja, Master of Science, Aspira and Vedrana Terkeš, MD, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Zadar General Hospital.
Dean of Aspire Alen Jerkunica, Univ. spec. oec., v. pred. together with doc. Ph.D. Sanelom Škorić from the Faculty of Kinesiology Zagreb, and with prof. Ph.D. Mata Bartoluci from Aspire presented “Development of sports tourism in Croatia”.
