After more than a year of cooperation with Centro Agrotecnico Regional from the city of Venado Tuerto in Santa Fe region, Argentina, which was signed in June of last year by Aspira Dean Alen Jerkunica and Dean Jose Ban, the moment when the students visited Aspira arrived.
Given that the school from the city of Venado Tuerto in Santa Fe region has more than 50 years of experience teaching agricultural production, it is natural to collaborate with an institution like Aspira, which also has gastronomy within its programs.
On Wednesday, September 19, Aspira hosted 15 students from Argentina and their two teachers, accompanied by two teachers from the secondary school “Braća Radić” from Kaštela.
As part of the visit, the students heard more about Aspira. Then came the most exciting part, the cooking show, which was interesting to the students. Together with Aspira’s chef Nikša Boban, they prepared a risotto made of lobster and zucchini, which they later enjoyed at lunch together.
As a part of Aspira delegation, alongside dean, were Josip Radić, coordinator for international cooperation, and Branka Bezić Filipović, who connects Aspira with the most remote parts of the world, were part of the Aspira delegation, along with the dean.
As a sign of gratitude for the hospitality, the students from Argentina prepared a special gift for Aspira.
The gathering of the students from distant Argentina and Aspira concluded with the desire to develop cooperation and continue connecting.
