Enrolment conditions

Specialist graduate professional studies, after finishing the enrolment procedure, can be enrolled by applicants who have completed a university undergraduate or professional studies or have mastered or completed a degree in another higher educational institution. Persons who have completed a study at other higher education institutions may enrol this study program under the condition they pass the subjects they did not pass on other educational institution.

Graduate specialist professional studies, after finishing the enrolment procedure, can be enrolled by applicants who have previously completed higher education abroad, which is equivalent to the higher education in the Republic of Croatia.

Enrolment procedure for a specialist graduate professional study

The enrolment process for a specialist graduate professional study includes evaluation of the success achieved in the previous higher education and discussion with the candidate on motivation for enrolling studies. Special attention is paid to the sports and other achievements achieved during the previous education or the active pursuit of sport.

Aspira University of Applied Sciences can also determine the additional conditions of enrolment such as a motivational letter about which candidates will be properly notified.

The procedure and method of assessment of the enrolment procedure shall include the following:

 

  1. The average of completed pre-graduate, undergraduate or graduate studies is multiplied by factor 10. Maximum 5 x 10 = 50 points.
  2. Letter of motivation or some other additional condition: maximum 25 points.
  3. Interview with the candidate: maximum 25 points.

Overall: 1 + 2 + 3 = 100 points

Entry minimum: 50 points

Scholarships

The following criteria are considered for the scholarship award:

  1. Students coming from lower income families
  2. Success in secondary / higher education to date;

The scholarship agreement is renewed at the end of each academic year, after the completion of the fall exam periods. In the event of a repeat year or a grade point average of less than 4.0 during one year, the applicant loses the right to further scholarship.

Applications for the scholarship are made through the application form, and the complete documentation is submitted to the Student Service until the completion of the candidates rank list for admission to study.

When applying, it is necessary to submit: certificate of citizenship, birth certificate, diploma, transcript of records from the previous institution, decision of the Center for Social Welfare and / or certificate of household income in the previous calendar year, or other documents showing low social or financial status.
