At the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, from September 25 to 27, 2025, an international conference titled “A Decade of Sustainable Development Goals (2015–2025): Reflections and Future Perspectives” was held to mark the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event brought together numerous domestic and international experts, scholars, institutional representatives, members of civil society, and students, with the aim of critically reflecting on the achievements and challenges in the implementation of the SDGs and discussing future directions for action.
The conference was organized by the Center for Transdisciplinary Promotion of Sustainable Development – OdRaST and the Center for Research and Education on Human Rights, both operating within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. The Faculty provided strong organizational and financial support, ensuring a high level of quality and international recognition of the event.
We especially highlight the participation of our professor and Head of the Department for Scientific and Professional Activities, Dr. Irena Alteljević, whose contribution further enhanced the professional and academic reputation of our Faculty.The conference concluded with the adoption of recommendations and initiatives aimed at continuing international and regional cooperation, reaffirming Split as an important center for dialogue on a sustainable future.
