Among the many Croatian students that got the opportunity to have this hands-on experience we could also find Laura Mishevska from Macedonia, Jacob Ratcliff from Germany, and Alexis Gentil from France, three of the international students currently enrolled in gastronomy study program in our campus in Split.<\/p>\n<p>The students left early morning on Wednesday and headed to their first stop in Matulji where they enjoyed \u201cthe art of coffee making\u201d at Hugh &amp; Punch, for their second and third stops, the students got to visit Kabola Winery and Roxanich Winery where they got to do some wine tasting before heading to their hotel for the night. In the evening of their first day, they got to Hotel Amines where they enjoyed dinner and their stay in the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>To start off their second and final day of the study trip, the students had breakfast in the hotel followed by an educational workshop of \u201cDishes from indigenous cattle, Istrian Bo\u0161karin\u201d. Their first stop on the way back was a visit to their third winery, Mato\u0161evi\u0107 Winery in Sveti Lovre\u010d, after that they got to visit Chiavalon oil mill where they had the opportunity to learn about all the different kinds of olive oil that are made.
