A student who has been granted a transfer from another course of study may apply for admission to the exams, subject to the Statute of the University, which requires students to admit those exams that match at least 70% of the content of the course in Aspira. If the content overlap ratio is less than 70%, the professor may decide to recognize part of the exam. Also, the student may be admitted to the subjects which he \/ she passed at the previous faculty as elective subjects at the University.<\/p>\n
In order to ensure the mobility of students, the study content consists of the core curriculum which contains the obligatory courses of Hotel and Tourism Management (core subjects), which are mandatory for the professional title, and elective contents. Graduate study in Hotel and Tourism Management can also be accessed by applicants who have completed a number of semesters at another higher education institution in the Republic of Croatia or in EU countries, at the undergraduate level, i.e. in another country that has an ECTS study and study system adapted to the Bologna process whereby the difference in content will be treated as elective content and as differential exams that must be passed from the core curriculum according to the proposed program.<\/p>\n
Example: A student who has completed one year of professional specialist graduate study at another institution of higher education in the Republic of Croatia, or in another country that has an ECTS system of study credits and a system of studies adapted to the Bologna Process wants to enroll in the study of Hotel and Tourism Management. Only the mandatory courses defined in the 1st\u00a0 and 2nd semester may appear as differential courses required to be taken by the student when transferring to the study program.
