Foreign nationals intending to study in Croatia must regulate their residence an get residence permit. Residence permit includes a transcript of records and letter of confirmation of the international students study period at the Faculty.
All the students who are about to stay in Croatia more than 90 days must report their stay in
Croatia to the Central Police Station within 72 hours upon entering Croatia.

All the participants who are preparing for mobility need to write their motivation letter and CV in English. Because of that and the easiest communication in the period spend abroad it is necessary that one month before departure they attend a language course. Within the Language centre students can learn language of the country were they are going in their exchange program or other languages that can be used for communication in that country. Duration of the Erasmus Intensive Language Course is between 2 and 6 weeks, and it is held no later than a month before the exchange. It can be done at two levels; beginner or intermediate language learning program, according to background knowledge student who attend the course. If a student cannot attend the course, Department of International Cooperation checks if the host institution organizes language courses.
Language policy for incoming students and staff
Language Centre operates within Department of International Cooperation, providing incoming students and staff with Croatian for Foreigners language courses. Students can choose an intensive Croatian language and culture course, which lasts between 2 and 6 weeks and is held during the exchange program. The students who are in the exchange program for a
longer period of time can choose to attend the intermediate Croatian language course, during the entire exchange program. The course provides the attendees sightseeing tours where they are introduced with a rich cultural and historical heritage of the city of Split.
